Stella Rosa Pineapple Semi-Sweet White Wine is a proprietary blend of several white grape varietals including White Moscato (an indigenous grape variety from Piedmont). The wine has natural flavors of Pineapple that are crafted using a natural distillation process. The grapes are harvested, pressed, centrifuged, and then held cold as juice at 28 degrees Fahrenheit. The juice is fermented at various intervals throughout the year allowing the wine to remain fresh and delicate.

The first Pinot Noir from Fleur de California was produced in 1987, so this represents their 33rd vintage. In recent years they have shifted to using more fruit from their estate vineyards as well as the Haire Ranch. The resulting wine has complex flavors of Bing cherry, raspberry and peppercorn with earthy aromas that conjure forest floor and black tea. The wine spent 11 months aging in 20% new French oak, which enhances palate structure and adds length to the finish without masking the bright red fruit notes and varietal character that we strive to preserve. 

The complex and sophisticated mouthfeel of this Chardonnay is built through a combination of French and American oak, stainless steel tanks and sur lie aging. Each technique offers the final blend something special; from the hint of vanilla bean and buttercream from the oak barrels, to the crisp stone fruit varietal characteristics highlighted in the stainless steel, to the round, luxurious mouthfeel resulting from sur lie aging.
